Vikings and Samurai

Here it is a combination of an old obsession (vikings) and a new one (samurai). I think I will be doing a few more sketches in this vein. As they are fun subjects.

Samurai Inspired

So not too long ago I began reading a book about samurai. It was a bargain book at chapters I picked up for a couple bucks, it's a dry read but interesting. Anyways it has had my head swimming with images of samurai, and here are the resulting sketches.

Did this one a while ago but really liked it. It was to be displayed as a graphic on the side of 3d robotic t-rex we were building back in school, memphis-belle style. The project never got as far as texturing though.

Just a little diddy I did of a few of my co-workers at core a while back, based around a little inside joke. High Five............

Subway Sketches

So here we are, my first post. Getting things rollings with some subway sketches. The scans really didn't turn out to well, I'm drawing with a 2h right now and the scanner seems to have a hard time picking it up. These have been well doctored to get them to where they are and truthfully they have lost something in the process. I will have to re-evaluate my choice of medium. Oh well.
